August 5th was a special day for a boating place my inside source works. None other than Lori Lightfoot came in. She was blasting California Girls by Katy Perry and LIZZO (post allegations) while whipping the boat around. She clearly wanted attention. While she was trying to park the boat someone on her boat said “Still not as hard as Covid.” There was MODELO in the boat just like in that photo.

This is objectivity funny. Her reasoning is she doesn’t want to hit any children that are walking around the unofficial market. I don’t know why bikers think they’re so special just walk instead of biking that day. My friend Ian has walked 20 miles in a day that’s impressive! Biking is #lame

Busted! She had national internet star power - interesting considering how truly unpopular she was here with seems like everyone? My drummer and I agree that she has a twinkle in her eye and she seemed very unperturbed by her unpopularity.

I love it. Sometimes if I’m sad I just go to 7/11. They have the failing New York Times, they have Red Bull Zero, & they have a hint of lime Tostitos. And contact solution. Meg, what is your 7/11 standard order?

Q. Future Sports Boyfriends plans?
I have an album locked and loaded if anyone wants to help me distro it. Or if anyone wants to hear it I’ll email it to you. I’m working on new shirts. And we’ll do a few shows in the fall & quarterly in perpetuity.
I’m going to do sports boyfriend until someone marries me. It is one of my major value props.
Pitchfork discourse
Idgaf about Pitchfork but mental illness is really sad. Their album reviews are too long and boring, good journalism is short and concise (like this blog). I will say if I’m losing an argument about whether a band is good or not I’ll pull up a Pitchfork score if I agree with it.
Industry Plant discourse
Just like pitchfork discourse is back on Twitter so industry plant discourse. If you’re calling people industry plants in 2023 you’re lame I don’t even care if they really are. If you’re going to talk shit at least make it good.
1989 Taylor’s Version Announced
The cover art is soooo ugly but I’m excited. Rumors are Harry Styles will be featured on Style. I sense they’ll be back together within 2023. I guess as of today Harry Styles is dating Taylor Russell. She was amazing in Bones and All! Timothee Chalamet really ruined that movie.
